P.Q.
Most of our work comes through recommendation, and we’re very conscious of the need to live up to that confidence in us.

We aim to be a firm which attracts not just good people, but exceptional people; who bring intelligence, experience and enjoyment to their work; and who have what we call PQ – Property Quotient. This is something that can’t really be taught: having a natural feel for how the property market works, and how people work, so that the right things happen.

In tougher times in particular, sharp minds are needed. We think you’ll find them at Koopmans.

Studying Land Management at Reading Uni, qualifying and then starting with a desk and a phone at Koopmans in 1991 means that commercial property is now engrained in Paul’s DNA.

Outside of work Paul spends as much time with his wife and two teenage daughters who both appreciate the retail elements of the business! Paul enjoys cycling most weekends and has raised money enduring long rides for charity as far afield as Nicaragua and Costa Rica. Paul enjoys skiing in the winter and travelling whenever possible.

From Paris to Las Vegas my former career as a singer and dancer took me to many parts of the world. I really enjoyed travelling and hopefully this has given me some understanding of different cultures and attitudes to life.

Wearing somewhat fewer sequins I now enjoy a very different role in Property Management. With each day bringing a new situation it can be challenging but ultimately rewarding!

Alas the high kicking days are over but I do try to keep physically fit with a Wii Workout and for recreation I have a small web site for ex-dancers who want to keep in touch.
